This work reflects on the quiet resilience of fragile beings that sustain their lives in their own unique way.
Jellyfish are said to have little power to swim, drifting along the currents and floating near the water's surface. This inspired the thought that fragility does not necessarily mean disappearance, but rather the possibility of continuing to exist in a different way.
Through this work, I explore the ways in which vulnerable beings remain in the world, expressing the gentle breath of fragile life that lingers between light and shadow.
잔숨
연약한 존재가 자신만의 방식으로 삶을 이어가는 모습에 대한 사유를 담고 있다.
해파리는 헤엄치는 힘이 약해 물살을 따라 수면을 떠돌며 살아간다고 한다.
약하다는 것이 곧 사라짐을 의미하는 것이 아니라, 다른 방식으로 살아갈 수 있다는 가능성을 떠올리게 했다.
이를 통해 약한 존재가 세상에 머무는 방식과,
그 연약한 생명이 빛이 그림자 사이에 남기는 조용한 숨결을 표현한다.
