Hello

Where Humans Passed By

2025. Stained glass, 42.0 × 55.0 cm

Before nature, human life is only a brief moment—yet I wondered whether we live by too easily justifying our desires and destroying so much. This work renders a “heart landscape” of human desire in glass, and draws the image of a person briefly enjoying nature and moving on. By portraying the human figure with acrylic paint—something that can disappear easily—on top of enduring glass and kiln-fired enamel, the work contrasts the permanence of nature with the ephemerality of human existence. It reflects on the attitude with which we face nature, and on what kind of presence we leave behind within it.
