A cube is a structure with a single correct answer—we already know it can be completed. Yet in everyday life, that very certainty layers our urge to do better, and the form slowly begins to deform under multiple desires. One fragment can no longer remain on the plane and protrudes into volume. This protrusion is not a trace of failure. It is the result of desire toward a goal, an attitude that seeks a better state, and deliberate intervention. The cube has drifted from its original “answer,” but this divergence is not denied. Rather, it can be read as evidence left by desire, and as a way in which the structure changes and expands. The piece that pushes outward is both a fissure and a trace that the structure was alive and in motion—another form of completion shaped not by the correct answer, but by the process itself.

큐브는 정답이 존재하는 구조이며, 완성될 수 있다는 사실을 우리는 이미 알고 있다. 임규린 Lim Gyurin- 일상 바로 그'알고 있음'으로 더 잘하려는 마음이 겹쳐지고 여러 욕망으로 인해 형태는 서서히 변형된다. 하나의 조각은 더 이상 평면에 머무르지 못한 채 입체적으로 돌출된다. 이 돌출은 실패의 흔적이 아니다. 목표를 향한 욕망과 더 나은 상태를 만들고자 하는 태도 그리고 의도적인 개입이 만들어낸 결과물이다. 큐브는 원래의 정답에서 벗어났지만, 그로 인해 새로운 형태를 갖게 된다. 이 어긋남을 부정하지 않는다. 오히려 그것을 욕망이 남긴 증거이자 질서가 변화하고 확장되는방식으로 바라볼 수 있다. 튀어나온 하나의 조각은 균열인 동시에, 이 구조가 살아 움직였다는 흔적이며 정답이 아닌 과정이 만들어낸 또 다른 완성의 형태다.
